To whom it may concern (the person posting libel and slanderous postings against), As a hobby, I purchase broken laptops and computers, I repair them and sell them on various venues. I pride myself on doing the best I can to execute my transactions in an honest and ethical manner (Professional References Below). I purchase my entire product line off Craigslist in various cities, eBay auctions, and flea markets and out of the classified sections in newspapers. It is possible, that in the role of the consumer (purchaser) an item that I sold may have been previously claimed as 'stolen'. I execute every effort to mitigate this by ensuring that all items are activated with the original Windows COA and by only installing software (if applicable) that was originally on the unit back onto it. Furthermore, all hard drives are wiped clean and the original Windows software in re-installed using the original COA. To this date, I show no records of anyone contacting me claiming they purchased a stolen item. Therefore, and with extreme prejudice due to the defamatory nature of said statements; and in accordance with Texas Law; I am declaring the statements made hereinafter through these postings do not meet 'exception under law' having been publically expressed through publication by the submitter as; truth; opinion; privilege; matter of public opinion or innocent dissemination. Therefore said statements can be declared as 'Defamation Per Se' under Texas Penal Code, Title 16, Offense against Reputation, Chapter 1 Libel, Articles 1275, 1276, 1282, 1286, 1288. Chapter 2, Slander, Article 1293 and Chapter 3, Sending Anonymous Letters, Articles 1295 through 1297. Furthermore, and with no prejudice; resolution through arbitration is offered to the remitter of said statements. Further defamation by publication means may be constituted as negligence due to the failure of execution with 'reasonable care'. Professional References
