Offered for sale is an 1887 Biographical and Historical Record of Greene and Carroll Counties in Iowa. The first part of the book has biographies and illustrations of the Presidents of the U.S. from Washington to Cleveland, biographies and illustrations of the governors of Iowa from Lucas to Larrabee, and a short history of Iowa. The remainder of the book is biographical sketches of citizens of Greene and Carroll Counties. There are many illustrations of these citizens but not all. These citizen sketches make up about 90 % of the book. The binding on the book is not good but the book is intact.
