This is a one-of-a-kind Custom built Precision Bass (P/J configuration).It has a Warmoth swamp ash body with a roasted Fender Jazz bass neck andIt plays and sounds great with the very versatile electronics, Lindy FrailinPickups, and the stability of the Babicz bridge. The story of this bass is thatI am a regular guitar/ bass builder, and I wanted to build the perfect bass.So, I spent months figuring out what that was, and ended up with this beauty.The problem is that I have too many :-), so with a lump in my throat, I decidedto sell. Details: Fender Roasted maple Jazz Neck - Warmoth PJ 72 Swamp Ash Body - black nitro Fender 5 bolt American Neck plate with cutaway Black Warmoth Pickguard (plus a extra tort pickguard) American Fender Tuners (3) and Hipshot Drop D extender Babicz Bridge Pickups - Lindy Frailin PJ set 6 Way Pickup Switch Mid Control Solderless KellingSound Gator molded hard shell caseThis bass really is a tone monster, with the 6 way switch, here is how itis setup:The Solderless Harness has a 6 Way pickup selector, a master volume and a3 way push/pull tone pot. The settings on the switch are: 1. bridge 2. bridge and neck 3. neck 4. bridge and neck series5. bridge and neck out of phase 6 . bridge and neck series out of phase. The volume is 250kk with treble bleed circuit. The tone pot is a 500kpush/pull. This gives you 3 different settings. In down position it has a .027tropical fish cap . In up position it has two more settings. In up position on10 it is a mid boost, this basically cuts out the highs and low end. In upposition turned to 0 it's a mid scoop giving you a Stingray like sound. It has never gigged, but it has been played a good bit, there are a fewswirls and scratches on the back (See pics), and it is a nitro finish, and itis aging as they do. So, it does have play wear.Ask questions!
