Drop leaf ~ wall table was purchase by my moms and dads at the Witner's Store on Penn St. in Reading and has been in their position and mine since. (width 32"~ depth open 32" closed 16"~ height 29") Solid cherry wood... Mersman Fold over Duncan Phyfe Style Table 1930's. J B Mersman owned a mill in Angola Indiana and later on moved his mill to the Ohio area. He started a furniture company in the late 1800', making tables and the pieces ended up being so popular they remained to make them for over 100 years. This is a well-built Mersman Duncan Phyfe format fold over Table; it includes lovely wood grains with an accent of charming veneered wood on the side. It has one drawer in front with adequate area for storage an ornamental brass pull deal with, pedestal base with sculpted leaf pattern and four brass feet. This is a fantastic multi-purpose table can be used as a game table, in the dining room, in a bed room or as a side table. This piece is stamped with the Triangle design Mersman and the model number 7380 that was produced in 1930.
