I've published this guitar a couple times in the recent past and got some intriguing queries. More about that in a minute, but initially ... the guitar thing. Its a good white Fende strat body, its has a Warmoth pro quartersawn Maple neck, SRV profile, 12 inch radius, SS frets, Vintage Tuners, Bone nut.( neck was $450). Chevalier 67 pick-ups, CTS matched pots, classic electrical wiring, cloth circuitry. 5 way switch, full size tem. Block. Fender parchment pickguard with Fender matured control knobs. The guitar plays like a dream.Now, about those previous inquiries:. (a) Do I live in a pet-free home? No. I have a attack Cat, and German Shepherd who will certainly chew the tires off your truck ... so the guitar has actually most likely been exposed to whatever it is you pet-sensitive kinds fret about. Regrettable. I such as cats and dogs. Celery munchers? Not a lot. (b) Has this guitar been exposed to tobacco smoke? Yes. A few the guys I have fun with are smokers. Desire they weren't, however you understand what? That does not bother me almost as much as getting behind a city bus and eating diesel smoke. Regardless, I keep the guitar clean, and it smells like Lizard Spit cleaner/polish, not smoke. If it's simply the THOUGHT of tobacco smoke that offends your sensibilities ... go grab another celery stick. If you think a little tobacco smoke stinks, you would not want to be around me after a couple Buds and a sackful of Taco Bell flame-starters. (c) No one asked, but in the spirit of complete disclosure ... there could have been a drop or 2 of beer (or brown liquor) on this guitar from time to time. A drop or two of spillage can occur when you're having and playing enjoyable. However once again, I do keep the guitar clean. and there's certainly no residue or spotting. No big discount - just laying it all out there. For those who might be angered by simply the THOUGHT of a drop or 2 of beer spilled on a guitar ... well, jeez. Run to the refrigerator and grab a fresh Perrier. Send a campaign contribution to Hillary. Whatever makes you delighted, cupcake. I have this guitar - genuine nice guitar. I just don't ever seem to play it much nowadays. I 'd love to trade it. I know you'll draw it up online and do your research, and then you'll know this truly is a heck of a nice guitar. Nice to look at, nice to play. Somebody out there has an old strat/tele, or an old Marshall amp ... something you don't play much anymore, either. Offer me a trade. You'll get a new toy, I'll get a new toy, you'll most likely get the bulk of the trade, and I will not need to answer email from celery-munching turds who don't like canines. Win-win.
