The futon frame is sturdy metal. but has real wooden ends for armrests. the size is: 36" wide and 80" long in the normal couch type position..IT IS 58" in the opened up position, wide... it is being sold as is, used.THERE ARE NO BENT OR BROKEN FRAME PARTS, THE WOODEN ENDS ARE ALL IN TACT, no splits in wood or broken slats....
