I have a really nice Fender Jazzmaster that I got off a good friend over 7 years earlier.I am the 2nd owner. There are surface blemishes on the back of the neck, headstock, and lower corner of the body. Regular ware for being 11 years old. This is a CIJ (Crafted in Japan) guitar that Fender brought over to the US market in the very early 2000s This belonged to a shipment of 1,000 systems (500 in red and 500 in blue). If you seek out CIJ, MIJ, vs United States many have compared the noise and quality to the very early US JMs. Currently they do not make these overseas, now they are made in Mexico ...
