I am selling a vintage, African locket made with old Venetian and European trade beads, two-layer red Venetian whitehearts, tiny chevrons, and lots of seed beads made prior to 1860-- and fastened at the closure with an old Chinese "cash money" coin. The large white beads seem constructed of stone (or possibly Dutch porcelain). This is a heavy, wonderfully made piece most likely made by the Fulani, a nomadic individuals of W Africa according to a source I made a questions to. We are outdoors Dripping Springs but enter Austin 2x each week and happy to bring in.
