This OAV (being called a "2 in 1 movie") was released at the end of December, 2011, and is something of an accompaniment to the Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto arc. Shin Kyoto-Hen ("new Kyoto arc") is mentioned to from the viewpoint of Makimachi Misao. While scenes from the old Kyoto arc make an occasional appearance, the animation is ENTIRELY new, and the material itself is at least from a various viewpoint. There are two Shin Kyoto-Hen episodes, and both are consisted of on this one dvd. The dvd was produced in Malaysia, but is playable on United States dvd/blueray players (I enjoyed it on a Samsung BlueRay/dvd player). Dvd is in original Japanese language, with Chinese, English and Malay subtitles offered. This dvd has actually been watched when, and is in beautiful condition. E-mail with any concerns!
