Up for sale is a super cool old Japanese made Crestline L P copy in good shape with its original finish. All parts are original except for the nut. It does have some minor chips and dings, but nothing that would show in the pictures, and I think the pictures speak for themselves. The neck is straight, but it has some relief to avoid string buzz. The strings are old; I believe that they are Ernie Ball Hybrids, 9 to 46s. The pots all work, but they are a little bit scratchy and could use some cleaning. I bought this guitar several years ago on Ebay because I thought it looked cool... still do. Of course, it needed some tweaking, but I only got to replace the nut and adjust the action before my attention was directed elsewhere. The nut was custom made out of bone by my friend, who is a quite renowned luthier here in San Antonio, for this guitar. It's been cut to fit the strings on it, but it needs some minimal dressing/finishing to look really great. The nut is spot glued as I was going to remove it at one time to finish it. It is stable, but it should be re-glued to avoid any surprises when jamming in front of people. It plays well, and the pickups are hot. The bridge is in great shape, and has nylon saddles. I?ve been VERY tempted to remove the bridge and use it on another one of my guitars because the nylon saddles give the guitar a different tone than what you get with metal or graphite saddles. It actually sounds pretty cool with distortion. Now, don't get me wrong, this is not a super fine, high dollar guitar, but if you dig old guitars, and don?t want to spend a lot of money, you'll probably like this one. I think it plays fine right now, but it may require adjustments (guitar set-up by a qualified technician) to make it play in accordance with the user?s own tastes.I'm not in any hurry to sell it, I just don't play it.It comes with a gig bag.No lowball/best offers!Sold as is.
