FROM MY GARDEN:I have quite a few perennials that have "had babies" in my garden. I've dug them out and and I am offering them for sale. I have 4 clumps of ornamental grass for $1.00 each. Don't know the variety name, but these grow to about 2 to 3 foot high so they are a smaller variety with thin solid green blades that grow wheat colored plumes that look like bottle brushes later in the season. They require little care. You would pay $7 or $8 in a garden center for this size container.Also I have several trays of a Sedum ground cover which I believe is the variety called 'Gold Mound'. It has soft needle-shaped lime-green leaves form dense mounds with starry yellow flowers in spring. Excellent ground cover or hanging pot specimen. Sun/part sun. This stuff spreads very fast and grows almost anywhere. Great for rock gardens, or anywhere you need a very easy plant to grow. Just lay it on the ground, sprinkle it with some soil and water. Large trays are $1 each and small trays that contain enough to make a nice hanging basket are $.50 each.More Sedum: I have a lot of babies from a bush sedum that grows into a bluish green mound that gets flowers later in the summer. Flowers start out pink and by fall turn to almost red. This also is a very fast growing plant, requiring little care. I have put babies into packs of 4 and packs of 6 (reusing from past purchases ) and several in small single pots. I am asking $.50 for a single because these are bigger plants, $1.00 for a 4 pack and $1.50 for a six pack. These are great prices for perennials as they come back every year and require little care. Once you have a nice sized plant, you can break stems off and root them for more plants. By the way, sedums are succulents.In addition to the above, I also have burgandy leafed baby coral bells. I will dig these out when you purchase them and they are also .50 each for smaller ones and some medium sized ones are $1.Please call me at 717-244-XXXX.
