This is a Musical instrument of India. GREAT artistry carved on the gourd of the instrument.It comes with a basic instructional DVD, an extra set of strings and the special sitar pick called a mizrab"The sitar is a long-necked lute of Persian origin played in India since the 18th centry. It has 3 or 4 playing strings, 4 drone strings and movable frets. It deserves it's destintive resonaance from an additional 15 sympathetic strings which lie beneath the frets, a long hollow neck, and 1-2 gourd resonating chanbers" - 47 Paintings
