I am offering an upright piano by Price and Teeple Piano Company. Based on the identification number (53689), my enlightened guess is that it was constructed between 1918 and 1921. Aesthetically, it is an extremely gorgeous piano. The wood has been refinished (by the previous owner), and has just a couple of scratches around the body. All the notes work, however the secrets are absolutely in extremely bad shape ... numerous of them peeling, and I think they are cased in ivory ... which would be prohibited to make nowadays. It remains in tune for a number of months before having to be tuned again ... not bad for a practically 100 years of age piano! Tone-wise, it is not fantastic ... but I delighted in playing it in my residence for the last three years. I utilized the accompanying bench, however among the cross wooden bars is separated, so it is not as stable as you would really want. I'm only selling this piano since I am moving cross nation to Washington State ... absolutely tough to see it go! Buyer will certainly have to look after moving it, which usually costs around $200-$300 from a typical piano moving business.
