The Military Modular Sleeping Bag is constructed to insulate the user in environments ranging from moderate weather to very winter. The Military Modular Sleeping System includes 2 mummy-style bedroll, the bivy cover and the compression storage bag. Each sleeping bag is constructed of waterproof ripstop nylon. Each Military Sleeping Bag is totally practical separately. For a temperature level to -30 degrees, place the Intermediate Cold Weather bag inside the Patrol bag. Each bag works with the vapor permeable bivy cover. When all 3 compartments of the Gortex 3-part sleeping bag are used together, the system is rated to provide 4 hours sleep at -40 degrees. A compression things sack is included and detailed below. Non-flammable and machine washable. Condition:. PATROL BAG: Temperature to +30 degrees, reversible double-pull (opens end to end) slider allows leading or bottom ventilation, non-locking slide fastener self repair services if obstructed or snagged, draft flap prevents heat loss, hood adjusts for heat retention, consists of nylon draw cord and barrel lock. Approx. dimensions: 90"-- 92"long; 36"-- 37"broad. Color: Green. INTERMEDIATE COLD WEATHER BAG: Temperature to -10 degrees, insulation does not migrate in the bag, anatomically made foot box consists of twice the insulation as the bag, sewn-in, quilted chest collar prevents air drafts up and down through the hood, hood adjusts for heat retention; includes nylon draw cord and barrel lock. Approx. dimensions: 85"-- 87"long; 34.5"- 35.5"large. Color: Black WOODLAND BIVY COVER: Approx. dimensions: Overall length 85"optimum; Width at feet is 28"minimum and at shoulders is 35"maximum. STUFF SACK: Compressible to approx. one cubic foot, six 1" wide nylon webbing straps by ladder lock buckles, reinforcement webbing is attached around the circumference of the bag, nylon draw cord closure with a barrel lock.
