The book consists of 64 complete page colored maps and a war graves index consisting of over 1700 cemeteries. The text consists of a 40 page area entitled:"description of the battlegrounds". This includes, Belgium/French Flanders/Ypres, Douai, Cambrai, the Somme area, the Aisne, the Marne area and Verdun. Thirteen complete page b/w photos are consisted of at the rear of the book. These consist of:- the falling statuary of the Albert Basilique, a basic vue of the (messed up) town of Bapaume, Canadian cavalry going into Mons, and ruins of the Amien railway station. This difficult-to-obtain book will certainly be of great interest to the both the professional book collector and to any individual who has even more than a passing interest in W.W.I and the really poignant battlefield websites and cemeteries of Northern France and Belgium. The size is 71/2 x 5 inches 1st Edition printed in 1920.
