You are buying a Vintage San Francisco Scott Pow R- Ply. Model 704/3 3 pc. 4 wt. Fly Rod was built 3/25 / 1985 that cool to know the exact date of the rods History . Has the name of the builder on rod . All guides are period for the year built . Very well done .This is a petty rare medium action light configuration that should be noted . A prefect rod for smaller stream situation . This I believe was a kit rod sold at Scott San Francisco for clients that want to build a factory rod . Note handle was assembled at the factory . As far as I can tell . Rod weight is a whopping 1.9 oz. supper light . Comes with vintage 3pc. case & sock may not be original Scott case the is the period of the rod . Fits the rod very well . Internal ferule connections are as they should be with proper spacing between sections . Handle show light use/ down locking cork seat factory done. Price reflect the build not a factory build . But never the less a well done quality job . IIf you are in the market for vintage Scott G series 3 section graphite ultra light fly rod . This one is for you .
