Pendulum SPS-1 Stereo Preamp for Acoustic Instruments. The reigning "King of Preamps" for acoustic guitar. I purchased this brand-new in 1998, but it's not getting much use at the moment. This is a Dual channel preamp that includes an external preamp module that plugs into a guitar. It is created to blend 2 signals (i.e. internal mic and pick-up) in stereo with an effects loop. Each channel is loaded to the hilt with high end featurs like 3 band parametric EQ, Phantom Power, Direct Out, Inserts, Phase Reverse, and so on. This thing likewise supplies a lots of gain, and anywhere I've ever played, the sound man is always left scratching his head. You'll need to warn him beforehand to decline your input at the board. The cost was astronomical at that time, and it's just gotten worse. Best of luck looking for a used one. I'm firm on the price, due to the fact that mine is mint, and there are many other uses for this in the studio that I must have my head analyzed for providing it.
