Vintage Arcade Video Games Price List: http://www.vintagearcade.net/inventory.shtml. The arcade variation of Ninja Gaiden is a "belt-scrolling" beat-'em-up. The gamer controls a ninja whose mission to defeat a wicked cult led by Bladedamus, a descendant of Nostradamus who seeks to meet his end of the world predictions. [5] Upon starting the video game, the gamer is greeted by the expression "NINJA IN USA". Approximately 2 gamers can play at the same time (Player 1 controls the blue ninja, while Player 2 controls an orange ninja). The controls of the video game consists of an eight-way joystick and 3 action buttons: Grab, Attack, and Jump. The Grab button is located on top of the joystick itself. The player character has five main techniques: The "Triple Blow Combination" is the player's main attack, carried out by pushing the attack button repetitively while the player is standing on the ground. While jumping to a foe, the player can do a "Flying Neck Throw"; tossing an enemy into a background things (such as trash cans, phone booths, or indicators) will certainly trigger various power-ups to appear, such as health bring back pills or a sword that can be wielded for a limited time. While standing near overhead signs or bars, the gamer can hang unto them by pressing the Grab button and perform a "Hang Kick". While overhanging on a bar, the gamer can also move by performing a "Tightrope Walk". The last of the 5 strategies is the "Phoenix Backflip", in which the gamer runs towards the wall and performs a backflip. The video game includes a morbid continue screen, where the gamer character is tied to a table surging his head violently while a gigantic circular saw is being decreased to him and exactly what appears to be a crowd of enemies is viewing in enjoyment in the background. If the player does not continue within the 10 2nd countdown, the screen fades to red, the ninja cries out in agony, and the words "GAME OVER" appears followed by dramatic music. The very first 5 rounds (stages) are based upon real American cities such as Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and a Transcontinental Railroad. The sixth and final stage set inside the main bad guy's hideout. The recurring managers includes a sumo wrestler; a pair of wrestlers resembling the Road Warriors tag team; and a trio of claw-wielding acrobats. The last employer is Bladedamus, who possesses two swords. TAGS; Arcade, Games, Xbox, Playstation, One, Video.
