Description:
Has a dark wooden box with swede type product for cushioning/padding. The box has two compartments with 37 utensils/tools in them. The label on it checks out "Manufactured by Henry Schively at the Old Establishment Manufactory. Removed to No. South 8th Street, below Chestnut Philadelphia." It's from the Civil War. All the devices are made from bone/ivory. In the upper compartment there are 20 smaller sized tools. The bottom compartment is divided into 2 sections. In the very first area there are 6 larger devices. The other section has 11 other smaller sized tools. I've done some research on this piece and other pieces much like this one have actually cost over 1,000 dollars online. I am asking $800 for it, however may consider other offers.
